Kress® has always been known for its innovative power tools. Back in 1928, the company founder Christian Kress® already focused on electric motors. Since the 1960s, the company has been making stationary workshop machines and portable power tools. In 1979, a modern research and development center focusing on battery tools was established in Switzerland. At the same time, sales were expanded to 60 countries. After merging with the Positec Group in 2017, the brand went all-in on battery-powered tools for both commercial and home use. In 2023, Kress® launched the 8-Minute CyberSystem, setting a new global standard for battery performance, charging times, and lifespan. As a flagship of German engineering, Kress® is committed to a future without fossil fuels.
